Score: 8.2/10
The 2026 Toyota C-HR AWD 18inch looks like a far more convincing EV effort from Toyota, pairing useful range with brisk performance and a strong tech-and-safety story. If final pricing lands right, it should be a credible alternative to the Hyundai Kona Electric, Kia Niro EV, Chevrolet Equinox EV, and Tesla Model Y, though some missing final specs keep it from a full-throated recommendation just yet.
Score: 7.3/10
The 2025 Nissan Versa Base remains one of the cheapest new cars in America, and it backs up that low price with excellent fuel economy and an unusually generous list of standard driver aids. It is not quick or plush, and rivals like the Hyundai Accent's spiritual used-car alternatives or the Kia Rio's legacy value proposition may tempt bargain hunters, but among new subcompact sedans the Versa is still a smart, honest buy.
